Alex Gutierrez – Project Manager/Technical Lead

reg_alex

President of Edison Space Corporation, Alex is additionally responsible in delivering and managing the Moon Digger effort. With over 9 years of managing/leading technical and robotics projects, his focus is on overall technical and program leadership. Previous experience includes his co-founding and leading the "Red Team", which competed in both DARPA Grand Challenges, competitions in which robots were required to drive 150 miles autonomously across the desert. During those challenges, Alex oversaw team creation and tasking, assisting in the technical leadership for the overall project, and specifically directed the apriori planning activities, which gave insight to the route before the competition start. The Red Team's two entries finished 2nd and 3rd in the 2005 version of the DARPA Grand Challenge. Alex holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Masters in Robotics, both from Carnegie Mellon University.

Matt Delaney – Software Lead

RegChal Matt

Matt is a senior in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Matt's experience includes work in the DARPA Grand Challenge, Google, and Independent Research. Matt’s current responsibility is overall software lead.

Ethan Minogue – Electrical Lead
